Hey yall.
For a long time (like, the past several years), I was wondering what they will call the current decade once it is history. The Zeros? The Hundreds? The double - ohs? But recently, it came to me. I'm pretty sure that, in later decades, they'll give 10 names to this current one. The generic will be "2K-er". And each year will be 2K1, 2K2, 2K3, 2K4 and so on.
"Yes sonny, back in 2K3, your grammy and I set off for a wild new frontier. Heck, I remember back then how we thought a slow and puny thing like 3G cell technology was gonna change the world!".
Hey, it could happen.
In other news, I got a few interesting emails regarding my last rant. One guy said he didn't find the cultural comments racist, but the mention of "rice boy" cars to be extremely racist.
Sheesh, buy a clue buddy. Rice Boy cars doesn't refer to the person driving it (well, not by race anyway). Any race, white, brown, black, whatever can be a rice boy car owner. Rice Boy refers to the car - and how the owner has a serious case of "Gran Tourismo-itis" by modding the exhaust pipes, adding a humongous spoiler, adding lower body skirts, painting it some really fucked up color, and lowering the suspension, all in hopes of making the car "look" faster (they don't actually go faster). One thing that always makes me laugh is a big ass spoiler on a car like a Honda Civic. You know the spoiler's purpose, right? To push the ass of the car down into the ground to increase traction. That's all fine and dandy, but Civics are front wheel drive cars - the spoiler would lift the front as it pushed the back end down, the faster you go. Stupid rice boy car driving assclowns. :-)
