Our Menu Design Services
The WriteDesign Company has been designing restaurant menus for over 8 years now, and our long list of satisfied customers shows our commitment and expertise in this highly specialized field.
Menu design isn't something that just anyone can do with a copy of a desktop publishing program and food items - it's much more. It involves identifying what kind of image the restaurant wants to portray, what the highest profit items are and displaying them in a way that ensures they are your highest sellers. To design a menu system means you have to know how the industry works, what sells and what doesn't. Our 8 years of experience allows us to call ourselves experts in this field.
When you hire The WriteDesign Company to design your menu system, we take you through our tried and true method of creating your system:
 Our first consultation visit allows us to find out more about your establishment, what kind of look you want, and what kind of components are needed for the menu system. We then prepare an estimate based on your needs.
After you accept our estimate, we start the difficult business of doing some free-form designs - using a portion of the actual menu items you give to us. At this stage, you decide what fonts you like best, what layout you like best, and if you want to use graphics from our clip art catalog or custom drawn images.
Once we nail down the fonts, images and layout, we enter in the rest of your menu items, lay them out in the chosen way, and deliver the first real draft to you. At this stage, you proof the document, make minor adjustments to the overall design, and offer any other design changes you might want.
 We then present you with the final proof. At this stage, you proofread the entire document again, make any final corrections (if needed) and then give it back to us.
Finally, we deliver the final printed versions of your menu system, in the quantity you desire.
We handle most printing jobs inhouse, using either a Lexmark Optra 1,200 dpi printer or our workhorse HP colour inkjets. On some occasions (especially with the use of photographic colour images), we use an outside source to print your final menus, but to really keep costs down, we try to steer you towards our economical printing options.
