Stories to Tale?
Freudian slip? Maybe. The truth of the matter is, stories about your life often change subtly over time, and as time goes on, you tend to confuse cold hard facts with more whimsical, lofty ideals. You know how it works.... you've convinced yourself, over the past ten years, that it was you who broke up with that girl, when in actual fact, she dumped you like an old Aerosmith song.

To the right you'll find some of my latest stories. Some of them are humourous, some show how much of a youthful letch I was. Still others show that, even a superficial youth like me could be sensitive, could be heart broken. I'll let you decide which ones are which. If you're looking for older tales, they can be found here, and it's getting pretty big!

On May 30th, I changed the look of this page somewhat, and I added a new tale about my experinces as a snowmaker at a ski hill in Alberta, called Making Snow for the Fortress.

Inspiration for this design
Stephanie Burr and her table wizardry rule big time. And thanks to Patrik Davidsson for providing me with a workaround to a netscape bug I was trying to fix.
  Making Snow for the Fortress
The worst job I ever had only had one good thing about it - quitting was so sweet.

  Award THIS, he said
Why don't I have any awards listed on this site? Funny you should ask... read on, McBain!

  Feeling U2
A tale about me and U2 through the years. Find out what my problem is.

  Walking the Dog
Every night I walk my dog along the same route because 3 houses have an effect on me.

  Cafe Wim
Cafe Wim was my hangout place for a long time. I fell head over heels there once, for the wrong woman.

  Byward Market Rants
Just another typical night in the Market. I'm serious. This is what every weekend was like!
